A historic riverside town in Essex

Arts Index

Burnham on Crouch has inspired many artists, authors and many other types of artisan.

The light, scenery, buildings and water in this area combine to inspire the current generation of artists and photographers creating an artistic buzz which in turn encourages artisans of many styles.

The town celebrates annually in the successful art trail but continues the work through the year through the strongholds of Back2the Wall and Templemans Galleries aided by Art Clubs at Burnham and Southminster as well as busy art classes.

These pages will in the future showcase some of these artisans so this section should be regarded as under development and worth visiting regularly to see the changes.

In the short term it will act as a link to web pages owned by some of the artists.
