Burnham Art Club

Burnham Art Club was started in the mid 1950's where a group of friends met in each others houses to paint and share experiences on painting.

By 1964 the Art Club was able to stage it's first exhibition which has become an annual event held in Burnham Museum in the last week of August, which is during the Yachting Festival called Burnham Week that is traditionally Burnham's busiest time of the year.

The Art Club meets from 10am to 2pm on Tuesdays in the Kings Hall (rear of Burnham Constitutional Club-access from Chapel Road).

The members still paint and discuss their work although there are guest speakers who provide expert advice.
