Crouch Harbour Authority
The
Crouch Harbour Authority is the statutory harbour and navigation
authority for the Rivers Crouch and Roach controlling both pleasure and
commercial use of the rivers.
The
Authority is based in an attractive white weatherboard building on the
Quay.
Notices boards displayed outside provide accurate weather forecasts,
tide tables and other important sailing information.
The
authority passes by laws that regulate use of the river and employ staff
that enforce the by laws.
Areas of the river nominated by CHA are set aside for use by water
ski's.
