Burnham on Crouch Railway Station
The Crouch Valley line is a branch line built in
1889 running 16.5 miles from Southminster to Wickford.
Stations on the line are Battlesbridge, South
Woodham Ferrers, North Fambridge, Althorne, Burnham-on-Crouch,
Southminster.
Regular electric trains operated by Greater
Anglia run on the line which include through trains to London Liverpool
Street at busy periods.
Trains have a conductor to collect fares and
check tickets although ticket offices are open from early morning to
about 11am on weekdays at Burnham and Southminster Railways Stations.
