Burnham Darby and Joan Club

Darby and Joan Clubs were started by the WRVS at the end of World War Two to provide a venue where older people could meet , share a cap of tea and enjoy a social interval.

Burnham Darby and Joan Club were founded in 1949 and has run successfully ever since.

The Club meets at the United Reform Church , Station Road, Burnham on Crouch on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month from 2pm to 4pm.

There is a small subscription payable.

A program of guest speakers, entertainers and activities is provided to supplement the social time and yes Darby and Joan still share a cup of tea.
