Narrow Seas Club

The Narrow Seas Club has no Clubhouse of their own and therefore with low overheads can offer comparatively cheap sailing.

The Club was formed in 1932 in London when a group of members left the Little Ships Club after a split with the leadership.

Their name came from a nickname for the channels seperating England from France and Ireland which were favourite areas for sailing at the time but it is now well suited to the Crouch estuary.

By the 1970's many of the members sailed from Burnham on Crouch and a decision was taken to move the club base to Burnham.

The Club currently holds meetings in the Constitutional Club and holds rallies and events throughout the year.
