Dengie Tai Chi Club runs Tai Chi Form classes throughout the Dengie Hundred.

The club concentrates on the health benefits of Tai Chi and offer no instruction on the religious aspects of tai chi.

The club website states that 'Tai Chi is a gentle, progressive low impact form of exercise based on ancient Chinese techniques. This form is well known for its beneficial effects on the vascular system and breathing, as well as bone, muscle and tendon/ligament strength.
