Bird watching in full Swing added 1 October
The observation area at L'Aiguillon Point is very bust with ornithologists watching the annual migration of birds with over 400,000 birds visiting the area en route to their winter homes.
Due to the combination of geographical location and habitat many people think this the best place in Europe to view the winter migration and so the observation area is open from 1 September each year.
